Your Sicilian Dreamerr:
My musical journey began at the age of 7, when I picked up the classical guitar, sparking a passion that quickly expanded to piano, songwriting, and eventually the electric guitar. This early foundation not only shaped my technical skills but ignited a lifelong pursuit of creative exploration, guiding me through various genres—from classical to acoustic, and eventually to mastering the electric guitar.
By 15, I had earned a diploma in Modern Electric Guitar from Yamaha, a formal recognition that marked the beginning of my involvement in musical competitions. One of my early highlights was reaching the finals of the Tour Music Fest with the Blallo Band, a pivotal experience that helped me hone my stage presence and expand my audience.
My pursuit of musical knowledge soon led me to Milan, where I co-founded a music studio during high school. This hands-on experience fueled my growing curiosity for music production, prompting me to study Urban Music Production at the S.A.E. Institute under the mentorship of figures like DJ Telaviv. This period was transformative, refining both my technical and artistic sensibilities and deepening my understanding of the industry.
The global nature of my musical exploration found further expression during the 2020 lockdown, when I relocated to Salzburg and shared my music on the streets. That period of introspection and connection with audiences led me to Vienna, where I pursued a bachelor's degree in music production at the Vienna Music Institute, learning from mentors like Filippo Gaetani, whose guidance helped me fine-tune my unique sound.
While in Vienna, I worked with Fretello GmbH, where I contributed as a guitarist and content creator. I also had the opportunity to perform live for artists like Anna-Sophie through GlobalRockStar, playing on TV, radio, and large stages. These experiences not only deepened my involvement in the Austrian music scene but also reignited my love for live performance while I continued my focus on production.
Though my academic pursuits were central to my development, I never abandoned my love for live music. I formed Plants that Grow at Night, a band that combined studio production with dynamic live performances. This led to collaborations with Fretello GmbH, where I contributed as a guitarist, content creator, and sound engineer, while also performing for artists like Anna-Sophie through GlobalRockStar. These experiences further anchored my presence in the Austrian music scene.
I also established a home studio in Vienna, where I collaborated with a range of international artists, expanding my discography to include albums, singles, and soundtracks across a variety of genres. Each project deepened my commitment to pushing musical boundaries, blending diverse influences while maintaining a distinctive voice.
In 2024, I relocated to Berlin, and later to Hamburg, continuing to broaden my creative horizons. These vibrant cultural centers offered new opportunities for collaboration and innovation, positioning me as an active participant in the ever-evolving European music scene. However, I faced a personal challenge when I had to return to Sicily for five months to be with my family due to health issues I am still managing. Despite this setback, I remained determined to continue my journey, and in the summer, I moved back to Hamburg to pick up where I left off and keep pushing forward.
